Surfing the net, we found these tips to life and business, recommended by the British athlete Sebastian Coe. Winner of two gold medals in 1980 and 1984.

The British athlete, Sebastian Coe, has been interviewed by the Telegraph.co.uk and gives us 20 tips to be successful in life and be a winner in business, as he is today. Here we detail these 20 tips:

1. You can be a leader. Many people believe that leaders are born so and either can not be. Sebastian Coe is among those who believe that leaders are made. Anyone can be a leader, with proper training and inadequate efforts to achieve it.

2. You have a vision in life. Many believe that having a vision is to have goals, but it is not. A vision is the way we want to inspire people. Our vision must be intensely personal, upbeat and original.

3. You will never inspire people without first understand them. To inspire people, we must first understand them. Otherwise, it will be impossible to inspire.

4. How are we doing this …? And why we’re doing well …?. These are two basic questions that we must always ask for any project that we plan to make.

5. Have realistic goals. It is advisable always set ourselves realistic goals, which can be short term and can be increased gradually.

6. The most capable leaders have not mended in hiring bright people themselves. It is difficult to find this ability in the leaders. And often, they are the people who surround themselves with mediocre to avoid being overshadowed. This requires a lot of confidence in himself and his team.

7. Listen to what is said but also what is not said. Communication is a basic necessity for all and for there to be two-way dee: back and forth. And we must always be mindful of what is said and also what is not said in our environment.
